Join our Bootcamp-style ACT Prep class to teach your student to learn the strategies to optimize your ACT scores as closely as possible to taking the test to increase your child's retention and effectiveness of the material.
Dr. Russo & Mrs. Bennett have extensive experience supporting high school students in their post-secondary planning and hold vast knowledge in both instructional and test-taking strategies that drive student success. Both are especially passionate about partnering with students, parents, and guardians as they navigate the journey toward college entrance and future opportunities.
DR. LIZ RUSSO (CO-FOUNDER)
Driven by a lifelong commitment to student achievement, Dr. Liz Russo brings over 25 years of experience in education to her role as co-founder of Up My ACT. She has served as a high school math teacher and coach, middle school principal, and high school principal. Each of these roles that have given her a unique perspective on what students need to thrive academically and prepare for life after graduation.
Dr. Russo holds a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University–Commerce. At Up My ACT, her mission is clear: to equip students with the confidence, strategies, and personalized support they need to perform their best on the ACT and take the next step toward a successful future.
HEATHER BENNETT (CO-FOUNDER)
With over 25 years of experience in education, Heather has a deep desire to see all students succeed academically. All students have the ability to learn and grow. She is excited to use her experience as a teacher, counselor, and administrator to empower students to reach their full potential and achieve their post-secondary goals.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a Master of School Counseling degree.
